Hip-hop legends Ed Lover and Dr. Dre star in this comedy as two rap artists, Cool Breeze and Ace, who are looking for a shot at the big time. The rappers sign a deal with a pair of promoters, Slick and Red, who promise the world but don't have much in the way of operating capital. Cool Breeze and Ace raise the needed cash by turning to Daddy T, a sinister loan shark, but when Slick and Red run off to the Bahamas with the money, the rappers set out to find them and recover the funds before Daddy T demands a literal pound of flesh in return. The buxotic Cassandra Lewis co-stars.
